Binary Bundle

As someone who studies computer science in university, I thought I would give this my super smart autistic 5-year-old brother for Christmas. It was a bit slow trying to get him hooked at first, but eventually after I showed him some things you could do with it, he thought it was really fun. Great purchase, totally worth it! But make you snap the marbles into the ramps and the two moving black things at the bottom of the board.

This is such an ingenious toy. My son is 7 so he still needs a bit of help reading the story but he picked up how to read the visual instructions right away. He loves figuring out the puzzles and I love seeing the computer logic that he's learning. I actually find myself wanting to do the puzzles too, it is fascinating. As well, the whole thing is very well designed and made- the pieces all fit and move perfectly which is a nice reprieve from cheap toys. Lastly, I took the advice of other reviewers and added the marble reloader, and my son loves it.

Both kids (6 and 9) are enthralled with this. They love the challenges and storyline, as well as the mechanics of the game itself.
