Nice game, but too expensive

The game is funny. However, at the contrary of the other games like Turing Tumble, this one does not teach you anything.
The price has no sense, and I got one beam broken, so I will not be able to complete all puzzles.
Depending on your building approach is not intuitive how to prepare or adjust your construction, because everything is falling at the same time.

Bridge or Bust

I gave this to my 8 year old grandson for Christmas. He enjoyed the story and loved the challenge of building! He has played with it daily and eagerly explained and showed off his accomplishments. By the third week of January, he had completed all 60 bridges! I was so happy to have found Bridge or Bust! What a hit! Any chance of an extension to the game?

Skills for the future and fun

My 8 and 11 year old grandsons just dove into the bridge building challenges and after 6 bridges are looking forward to more.

Another well-done game

My family (of two grade-school boys) and I own and love UpperStory's Spintronics and Turing Tumbler, and I'm happy to report their Bridge or Bust game does not disappoint.
It's meticulously thought out, like their other products, with puzzles spanning from super-easy to incredibly-difficult. The map has pull-down tabs to "save your progress" so you can quickly return to where you left off. And once a bridge is complete, you can check your solution with the one provided to see how it differs.
This is not a product you can hand over to an 8-year old and expect them to run with it; but you could for a 12+ child. It really shines as a 2-person game with one adult.
Some of the reviews have cited issues with setup time, quality, and packaging. Here are my thoughts: setup time is about 40min to assemble, but it's only done once. After that, you can start building bridges immediately, anytime. The quality of the pieces are excellent and on par with their other products. I will admit it's difficult to assemble the cardboard towers without causing some minor damage and it irritated me greatly - this is not something you leave to the kids to assemble. Wooden tower components, like what is used for the beams, would have made for a more premium and durable feel. In the end, it's a minor issue. And as for packaging, I think they did a great job. A place for everything means you can quickly assemble and disassemble the bridge back into the box. I can see the potential for kids to have the pieces strewn about while playing, but this could happen with any game (lego anyone?!).
Overall, Bridge or Bust is a great addition to our collection of unique and challenging games. I look forward to what they think up next.

High-quality, interesting, and educational!

This is our second time purchasing an Upper Story toy and we are always blown away by the quality, detail, and value of their products. We love Spintronics and it is a wonderful activity to do together with my 8 year old son. He is now having just as much fun with Bridge or Bust - we love how huge the set is and how many interesting possibilities there are for bridge-building! Customer service is also top-notch.

Great game

Original and incredibly fun game to play with kids. Everything looks like its high quality!

Product quality

Very surprised to get a video after purchasing showing how the product needed to be put together. Much of it is cardboard punch outs that could be damaged in putting materials together. From the videos I thought it would have more wooden structural elements as it is designed for multi use by small hands
