Not for 8 year olds, This requires a level of abstrraction that is beyond the level of most 8 year olds. While the educational materials use excellent instructional design methodology, there does not seem to be a realistic understanding of cognitive development in children

I have only gotten through a quarter of the story/puzzles, and I have already stumbled upon several examples where I had no idea why the circuit worked the way it did, even though I was very good at electronic circuits in highschool.
