I bought this for my 9yr old grandson, but his sister (nearly 7) joined in almost immediately. At first as children do the just experimented at random placing components and linking them with chains. Then of their own accord they started working through the booklet. I received an excited video from him showing me how he had started to use the "battery".
A definite Hit, would recommend it.

I would buy it again, i love to see my kids together playing.
It would be even beter with a portuguese version for them to understand beter

Spintronics Act One

Really adds to the first game. My children enjoy building from it. My son’s only complaint is the requirement to snap the chains together hurt his fingers.

Great addition to the base game. Base game is educational and fun.

An excellent game for children and adults

We received the Spintronics kit for Christmas. We love the game's multidisciplinary nature, with its construction, mechanics, and electronics aspects, all set against a backdrop of stimulating and educational challenges. The game allows for great progression and promises excellent family time combining mechanics, logic, and hands-on experience (areas in which children are generally better than adults!).
We also had an excellent experience with customer service, which efficiently helped us with our questions and requests.

Impressive

Very well thought out. I was looking for something to introduce my 5 yo son to electronics. While he’s still a bit young to understand all the concepts, he enjoys building and figuring out the puzzles. It keeps him off screens for awhile, in any case. Looking forward to act 2.

My 7 year old grandson was delighted to receive Spintronics as a present. He absolutely loved it. The chain is quite fiddly to fit round the various components, especially when you have several in use at the same time but that is my only criticism. Well made, quality product
