Overview

This spintronic battery powers spintronic circuits. It provides a constant spin voltage of 6 V when it is charged by pulling the string back.

Detailed description

This 6 spin volt battery has a maximum capacity of 0.3 mAh. A pull string charges the battery, and a constant torque spring provides a nearly constant spin voltage all the way until its charge is fully depleted. In the event of a short circuit, a built-in circuit breaker stops it immediately. The breaker is reset by charging the battery once more.

Awesome part

About half the circuits that you can build using spintronics use this battery. (Like a real battery, this one is DC There is no such thing as an AC battery:) )
Quite remarkable how this was created, and even seems to have the equivalent of a fuse in it. So even if you short circuit it, you can still use it afterwards!
I had one of the first ones before. That one had an issue, but it was replaced quickly and hassle free by the support departement of upperstory. This new one works like a charm!

Problème de batterie résolu

La batterie présentait un défaut initial car la cordelette se bloquait en essayant de la tirer. Un démontage et un remontage de la batterie n'ont pas permis de résoudre ce problème. Nous avons contacté le service client Spintronics qui nous a envoyé gratuitement une batterie neuve pendant les fêtes de Noël, un grand merci!
