Continue Natalia's time-winding adventure and help her build more advanced spintronic circuits for the town of Little Hope. This Act Two kit begins where Act One leaves off. New parts including transistors and inductors open a vast frontier of new possibilities. The puzzles also grow more challenging, with 82 more puzzles ranging from intermediate to advanced.

Spintronics is a new game (ages 8 to adult) from the makers of Turing Tumble where players build mechanical circuits to solve puzzles. Great for teaching electricity!!!

It’s amazing - lets students actually FEEL what things like resistance in a circuit means. It shows current in a meaningful way. And what an ammeter measures. I’m just getting started into the engaging story - I haven’t even gotten to the other components of the circuit yet, and I’m completely hooked. My students will understand electricity in a much more meaningful way than when I teach them with conventional circuits. I’ve got my kids at home working through it. I”m so excited to use it in class!!!!

Spintronics for Roboclub

As an educator I always seek innovative teaching tools. The Spintronics set by Upper Story has been a remarkable addition to my classroom. My students, having completed the Lego WeDo set, were ready to move on to Micro:bit. However, they were too young to grasp the abstract concepts of electricity typically taught with standard electric sets. Spintronics bridged this gap perfectly.
Spintronics provides a highly visual and tangible way to understand electricity. Inspired by steampunk aesthetics, its design adds an element of mystery and makes the set incredibly attractive and engaging for young learners.
