Overview

This spintronic battery powers spintronic circuits. It provides a constant spin voltage of 6 V when it is charged by pulling the string back.

Detailed description

This 6 spin volt battery has a maximum capacity of 0.3 mAh. A pull string charges the battery, and a constant torque spring provides a nearly constant spin voltage all the way until its charge is fully depleted. In the event of a short circuit, a built-in circuit breaker stops it immediately. The breaker is reset by charging the battery once more.

De Spintronics uitdagingen vormen een leuke en veilige manier van leren. De batterij heeft last van slijtage als die intensief gebruikt wordt. Wat mij betreft wegen de voordelen duidelijk op tegen de nadelen.

Jeu génial mais...

Le jeu est super et a tout de suite plu à mon fils de 9 ans, qui a déjà le Turing Tumble. Malheureusement, une pièce en plastique à l'intérieur de la batterie s'est rapidement cassée (au moment où l'on tire sur le cordon). Voilà pourquoi j'ai dû racheter une batterie en pièce détachée.

Well done Santa!!

Purchased as a Christmas present for our eleven year old grandson who is already passed the LEGO and Mecanno stages! Terrific learning with this "toy" in addition to the build element. Customer services were first class fixing a slight problem - even on a Saturday morning!
